  - This is a very nice, heavy made knife. I use mine every day and have it in my pocket with me everywhere I go. This knife is very well made and has heldup very well. I love this knife and will never leave home without it. I have and use several KA-BAR knives and love all of them. KA-BAR makes a awesome knife. The G10 is one of the best pocket knives I have ever had and used. I have used if for camping hunting and every day use.

  - Knife is well made, and very sturdy. I do not have any comments regarding the edge holding. The knife requires a strong hand to unlock, and also to deploy at least when new. The knife has steel liners on both sides, with the G10 being there just for grip and to add a touch of style. Two screws hold each scale to the steel liner beneath. The pocket clip is very nice and it is a low rider style, which I prefer. Remove the pivot screw (the tip of the pocket clip works to remove the pivot screw) and the scales can be removed. The pivot pin is hollow and fits with a nice tight tolerance on the example I handled. With the scales removed, you can pull the blade out from between the liners, where you will find two metal washers - not bronze but a silver colored metal, perhaps stainless. The lockbar is held in place with the lockbar pivot, and I did not remove that. Lockup is solid and I feel the knife could be used confidently for most any cutting chore without fear of failure. When new, the knife requires a fair amount of effort to deploy via the thumb studs. This might loosen up with some use and wear. The knife is very heavy and chunky. and when it is in your pocket you know it. It is not a knife that disappears in pocket, as it's mass makes itself known with every step. The clip has a muted style and does not draw attention - the clip is as good as it gets for my taste. All in all - this is a pretty good knife - I am not a lover of offshore production, but understand the need and this is a good knife that I think could withstand some heavy use and even some moderate abuse and come out still operational.
